Tian
was crowned Miss Thailand World in 1997. At the Miss World competition
(the only other major international pageant is Miss Universe) she had
the honor of being a top finalist and the greater honor of being voted
Miss Personality by her fellow contestants. She was recently voted the
Best Miss Thailand ever on an independent internet survey.
Tian
was so popular working for Thailand that during Asia's economic crisis
no Miss Thailand World was crowned until 2001, 4 years later.
Tian
